This is a reminder about the next year round gardening class that will be held Saturday, January 7, 10:00 a.m. at the Morgan Hill Community Garden. The class will be led by Patrick Day, UCCE Santa Clara County Master Gardener. Everyone is welcome to attend. The class will be held RAIN OR SHINE.
The topics and activities will include:
a. Year round gardening: What to do today in your garden.
b. Planting potatoes, onions and cabbage.
c. Starting seeds and up-potting starts to transplant into your garden in February and March.
d. Have the volunteer sunflowers from September survived the cold weather?
e. Succession planting.
f. Crop rotation.
g. Soil Care.
We hope to see many gardeners there!

Garden registration documents have been emailed out to you. Check your junk mail if you do not see it. If we don’t have a current email address, please email us with your updated information at info@mhcommunitygarden.org.
All registration documents need to be completely filled out and received with the payment at the garden post office box address by the end of January. This year’s gardening cost and current forms are in the previously sent email. Please put it in the mail soon, but at least by January 24 so it will arrive on time.
