The next “What To Do Now In Your Garden ” class by our master gardener, Pat Day, will be held on Saturday, May 6, 10:00 a.m. at the Morgan Hill Community Garden at 15690 Railroad Avenue in Morgan Hill. Everyone in the community is welcome and the class is free. Topics will include, but not limited to:
- What to do now with the African Blue Basil plants we propagated this past fall
- What to do now with the sweet potato slips we started a couple months ago
- Time to start cutting and enjoying the sweet peas (flowers) we planted last fall
- Succession plantings of onions, potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, beets, etc.
- Crop rotation
- Soil care
- Irrigation
